Purpose and Philosophy
St. George Nursery School was established in 1982 as a program and ministry of St. George Catholic Church. Our primary goal is to provide for the physical, social, emotional and cognitive needs of the pre-schoolers of St. George Church Parish in a fun, challenging and loving environment.
The children experience and learn about God's love, prayer, God's gifts, and other people in their Christian community.
Children of the same chronological age do not all develop at the same rate. Each child is a unique person with an individual pattern and timing of growth. We recognize that children are individuals with their own personalities and needs. We offer opportunities for growth by exposing children to many new and varied experiences. Each child is encouraged to develop at his/her own rate.
Each day offers opportunities to play, investigate, and express ideas for continuous development through developmentally appropriate activities.
