The purpose of the Liturgy Commission is to nurture the faith of the community by providing meaningful opportunities for worshipping and praising God through liturgical and para-liturgical services. This commission also coordinates all components of the Liturgy and ensures that the reception of the sacraments is available to all on a regular basis.
Altar Servers (Adult)
Adult altar servers are men and women who assist the presider at 4:00 p.m. Saturday Vigil and 7:30 a.m. Sunday Mass and at some special services. Children, sixth grade and older, may also serve with a parent.

Altar Servers (Youth)
This group of boys and girls, sixth grade and older, assists the presider at 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Sunday Mass and at some special services.

Altar Society
The Altar Society cleans and prepares the church building for regular worship and financially provides some church supplies.

Arimatheans
Parishioners who help prepare the church for funerals and wakes, greet families and assist the priest at the funeral Mass.

Bell Choir
A group of adults and students, high school and older, who play handbells at special services during the year. The ability to read music is necessary.

Children's Liturgy
To help Kindergarten through 3rd grade children more fully understand and participate in Sunday worship. The Children's Liturgy teams prepares special liturgies for children during the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Commitment: 9:30 a.m. Mass once a month.

Choir
The choir sings and leads the assembly in music at 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays and provides music for other special services during the year.

Environment Committee
This group supports the worship of the assembly by providing an attractive church environment with plants, banners and seasonal decor.

Home Disciples
This is a new ministry in which the homebound or our parish are commissioned as ministers of prayer for the needs of the parish. Each month, the home disciples receive a newsletter describing the spiritual, social and educational happenings in our parish and they are asked to pray that the spirit will guide the efforts of the parish.

Lectors
These parishioners proclaim the scriptures at weekend Masses, and at various special worship services throughout the year.

Linen Care
People are needed to care for altar linens, purificators, and altar server robes.

Liturgical Dancers
Adult
These adults, who have some experience in dance, enhance the community's worship through liturgical gesture.

These students must be in 9th grade or above and must have some dance experience. They contribute to the enhancement of the worship experience through liturgical gesture.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
These parishioners assist the presider in the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and bringing Holy Communion to the sick and homebound of the parish. Some ministers bring the Eucharist to area nursing homes and hospitals.

Prayer Blanket Ministry
Parishioners sew, crochet or quilt blankets for parishioners facing serious illness. Patterns and fabric are provided.

St. Anne's Hands
This ministry is a group of seamstresses who make baptismal bibs. The embroidered bibs become keepsakes for families.

Sacristans and Mass Coordinator
These men and women help maintain sacred vessels used for weekday and weekend liturgies, prepare other necessary items used for all Masses, and help to ensure the liturgies run smoothly.

Ushers
Ushers are needed at all masses. Ushers seat the Assembly, handle all collections, aid the assembly's communion procession, and generally assist in worship hospitality. Ushers are invited to monthly social gatherings for dinner and a meeting.
